Escape everyday life, unwind and connect with nature
Unforgettable experiences awaits you in Vega in Helgeland.
Spend the night in our specially built small houses, ‘Eider houses for people’, inspired by the eider business that has characterized the Vega Islands for hundreds of years. These ‘e-houses’ (local term) are an attraction in themselves that provide both peace of mind and tranquility. Here you also have a great starting point for outdoor activities for everyone.
Enjoy the special feeling of mastery by climbing the Ravnfloget Via Ferrata, explore the exciting world heritage area around Vega, either in a kayak or become one of the thousands of hikers who walk the Vega stairs to the top of the mount Ravnfloget to experience the fantastic view. Or maybe go for a bike ride around the island.
And in the middle of all this, the restaurant Ravnen Pub and Spiseri offers dining experiences with the taste of Vega!
Our unique ‘Eider houses for people’ offer an unparalleled accommodation experience, blending seamlessly into nature. These 20 ‘e-houses’ are strategically placed to showcase fantastic locations and views, inviting guests to immerse themselves in the beauty of the surroundings. Each house features 2 cozy beds, ensuring comfort while maintaining a close connection with the natural world. The concept of ‘Live in the nature, but under a roof!’ is realized through these dwellings, providing shelter without sacrificing the essence of outdoor living. It’s an ideal retreat for those seeking tranquility and a deep bond with nature, all while enjoying the comforts of a thoughtfully designed space.

Paddling through the serene waters, kayakers can navigate between secluded islands, discover hidden coves, and glide past rugged reefs that tell tales of the sea’s timeless rhythm. Starting with us in the base camp, there is a lot of other activities than ours you can do at Vega as well. As a area with world heritage status, the World Heritage Center on Gardsøya is well worth a visit, as well as exciting places such as Eliasbrygga and Vega Kystlag’s Vegstein Handelssted.
